- Czech Republic : a flawed democracy
- Saudi Arabia : an authoritarian regime
- Mauritius : a full democracy
- Morocco : a hybrid regime
- South Africa : a flawed democracy
Instructions : You will present « your »country political regime according to this specific frame :
1. Introduction : Why is this country well-know worldwide ?
2. Short historical background that gives clues to the contemporary political system.
3. Describe the institutions (role, relations between the different branches, citizen role…)
4. Describe the situation of Human Rights.
5. What’s Up? The latest political news.
6. Conclusion : Why is that country a full / flawed democracy / a hybrid regime / an authoritarian state ? What did you learn from that presentation?
Each part will be illustrated by a single picture that you will comment.
Each presentation should last 10 - 15 mn.
